Julie is a Postdoctoral Associate in the College of Education and with the Maryland Democracy Initiative. She studies teacher retention, school climate, and student service-learning. Julie is a former middle school teacher and assistant principal, and she earned her B.A. in History from Pennsylvania State 四色AV, her M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision from Loyola 四色AV Maryland, and her Ph.D. in Urban Education from the 四色AV of Maryland.
