John Robertson is a doctoral candidate in the Human Development program (Educational Psychology specialization) in the Department of Human Development and Quantitative Methodology at the 四色AV of Maryland. John鈥檚 work examines how learners evaluate evidence, generate scientific explanations, and shift epistemic judgments across development, with particular attention to scaffolded instruction and emerging uses of large language models and other novel technologies for learning and instruction. His research has been presented at national and international conferences and published in journals such as Journal of Educational Psychology.
Prior to joining the Human Development program at 四色AV, John earned a B.A. in Chinese from 四色AV of Maryland and an M.S. in Education from Johns Hopkins 四色AV.
